Finished my first build

Pretty proud to say I built it without any help, even if I did just put a bunch of parts together.

Specs:
Sabre Defence Industries Lower
DPMS lower internal parts
Ergo Suregrip left hand pistol grip
A2 buttstock
A3 upper in 5.56 (from model 1 sales, made by CMT maybe?)
2 piece aluminum free float tube
Young Manufacturing national match chrome bolt carrier group
16" stainless fluted heavy barrel
Wook ambidextrous charging handle
Harris 6"-9" bipod

Soon to have a scope. Kind of like the looks of the super sniper 10x42 for $299 at swfa.com.

Will eventually get an ambi safety selector and bolt catch. Could possibly get a 2 stage drop in trigger group.

I agree, it looks really good!!, but it's not a Olympic upper at all. I can give several reasons why just looking at the parts used on it and how it was built. If you'd like to know what they are, just PM me. I could explain better but don't want to hijack your thread, but I'd probably contact the place you ordered it from to find out just who's it really is if you ever need any warranty/service work done to it, it would be good to know where to send it just in case.

But nonetheless, I do like the way it looks. You've spent a lot of time (and cash too from the looks of it) making it what it is. With the items you chose, it has a streamlined look with the forend and fluting. You did a really good job.

If you're a lefty, I'm not sure if DPMS selectors are reversible or not, but I do know that some guys lpk's I've seen are reversible, so you may try inserting it from the other side. You may not have to buy an ambi selector after all. I think it's worth a try at any rate.

Very cool indeed!

I wouldn't mind a little more details on the bolt carrier group. I'm looking to finish my 24" Varmint rifle and don't like the bolt carrier that comes with it from RRA. Any details and where to get one? Thanks!

From what I read the company is owned by a guy named Dan Young and he's in Phoenix AZ. I got mine from model 1 sales when I ordered my kit from them. I substituted the Young NM carrier and a chrome bolt for the regular parts for additional money. Their price for just a stripped Young bolt carrier is $125.

Chrome should be easier to keep clean. At least I hope.

Very nice!!!
Did that bbl. come on the Olympic Arms upper?
I'm asking because I've been thinking of building a second (flattop) upper
