Actually I've found out that it's not an olympic upper. I should edit my original post.

The upper is from model 1 sales and came with the ER Shaw bbl, handguard, gas block, and everything. I was told by a friend that they used Olympic uppers and added their own barrels, etc.. Said friend bought his AR's 5+ years ago so things could have changed between then and now. Thanks to John A. who posted earlier here I've found that the upper is not Olympic arms. I have no idea who makes it until I can call model 1 on Monday. No matter who makes it it is pretty nice and fits the lower perfectly.

Sweet looking shooter...is it purpose built? (like killin' zombies, coyotes, or other such vermin?)

Killin' paper targets at 100 yards. Just a new toy to shoot really. Not looking to hunt or to shoot at very long distances.

I had a couple questions about what it cost me so here's the rundown.

$150 stripped lower at local gun shop
$721 "kit" (complete upper, buttstock, lower parts kit, price includes upgrades to ergo pistol grip, wook ambi charging handle, Young NM bolt carrier and chrome bolt)
$70 DPMS lower parts kit
$78 bipod
$20 armalite 10rd mag (NY State = no more than 10 rds. if made after 1994)

Total = $1039 +s/h internet orders & sales tax on local purchases

I bought the kit which included lower parts because the kit was $721 and if I had bought the upper, buttstock and pistol grip separate it was $708. So i paid the $13 extra and have a complete lower parts kit for spare parts.

The PRS is all that and everything you'd want in an adjustable stock. Hunt around AR15.COM and you'll find one for far below list! Snagged mine for $150 and despite the extra weight, it's worth it.
