Mags?
I wanna get a couple more mags for my AR. The Stag kit comes w/one 30 rd, and I'd like to have a couple more 30 rd mags to START with, hehe.
Question: From what I gather, CProducts makes a good mag, right? AIM Surplus has them w/green followers. Also, from what I gather, the green follower was an improvement to help rounds feed, so are the greenies good enough? Or should I spend a few more $$ to get some CProducts mags w/Magpul followers??

The green followers were the ant-snag type & work well. You shouldn't have any problems with them. I can't say enough good things about the amazing MagPul followers (they always stay leveled!), but for what you'd be spending on both separate items, you're might be better off just getting a couple of MagPul PMAGs, as they also have the followers installed and are top-quality, unless you don't like the polymer look.

Yeah, that's the thing, lol. Right now, they just seem, umm... "fugly" to me! Maybe they'll grow on me though. But thanks for the info Rhino.

Bravo company has D&H mags with green followers. These are good quality mags too.

OK I'm gonna sound mean here... but why the hell would you care what the mag looks like so long as it is the best functional value in the AR market today? Hell I wouldn't even care if they were bright friggen pink
Sorry man, I am a well known fan of the PMag's .. but the gaggle of USGI mags in the closet attest to the fact that I don't care what they look like as long as they work.

Make sure the bolt carrier is staked properly. Stag has a tendency not to do so well on that. Also, check out this forum as well. http://m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=7009 I bought my Stag from Grant at G&R Tactical. He is in the M4 forum as well and is a wealth of knowledge concerning Stag Arms. http://www.gandrtactical.com/
