OLY upper or not
I have an OLY AR but i am starting to think the upper is not OLY is there any way to find out. I found marking on the bcg that looked a mercedes benz emblem stamped in it.Anyone see this marking.

I just got my olympic varmint upper and the only marking on it is a raised symbol less than 1/8" tall on the right side just behind the deflector that looks like a keyhole.

The "keyhole" is the Cerro Forge marking. Has nothing to do with Oly.

I learn something new every day. Looks like Cerro Forge makes uppers for a lot of different manufacturers.
