Thoughts on Rock Island AR-15

I was at a gun show today and I was talking to a sales rep a little about the RI AR but I don't know anything about them.

He was saying their known for their triggers and I started getting interested but not really enough to get it.

But what are your thoughts on it. The show is going on tomorrow too so I can still pick it up if its a deal.

They were asking between $1000 and $1200 depending on the model/size.

Is this something to get now or should I pass up and look into when I'm interested in picking one up?

I was also looking into some Fulton's but again, I don't know anything about AR's and wasn't planning on picking one up soon but it just got me thinking.

I'm pretty sure he ment Rock River and yes they are known for their match triggers. Check them out on the web before you buy I think you can do better on a price. I just picked up a Armalite M-15 for $890. 16" flat top with the mid length gas system.

1000-1200 in probably not a "deal" depending on your area and what you were looking at

I ordered my RRA Entry Tactical with chrome lined barrel and got it for 900.00

they are great Ar's

they fit well and shoot very well

Iwould recommend some more research

AR forum here and www.ar15.com

but if you must soon (and I understand that feeling) you wont regret
Rock River arms

my .02
.40-.45 is online now

Rock River ARs are excellent out-of-the-box. If you want to get the National Match A2, then yes, 1000 to 1200 is about right. If it's the other model, then the price range is a bit high.

Either way, you won't regret RRA.

The best deal for RRA is with Pete at Legal Transfers (AR15sales.com).

I was just about to venture a guess that it would have had to have been one of the National Match rifles for that price
