Like I stated, it lived up to what it was designed for. Plinking. That is what I bought it for so yes, I was happy with it. I am not going to buy a $1k+ rifle to plink with. Seems silly. I have an SBR built from an LMT lower for SHTF.

I was even more happy whit my cheap plinker when I got more than I paid for it just for the lower receiver.

Have you owned any Oly ARs? Just curious...

Well, I went with Olympic. Hopefully I don't regret it too much.

I think it'll be fine for how much I'll use it and the accuracy I expect. I'd love a better and more expensive gun but cost vs. use didn't justify it. I have too many other expensive hobbies like photography to spend some of my money on.

Model 1 sales called me today like I asked them to do in my request in the "special instructions" box in my order. The stuff already shipped today when I just ordered last night. I'll reserve comment until I get the package and all of the right stuff is in the box but so far they seem like a good place to do business with.

I'll make a post after I assemble everything and let you all know my uneducated impression of it.

I've owned 4 Oly Ar's. Currently still have 3 of them. First was postban, sold it and bought a preban bushy. No problems with any of the Oly's.

I also own a Spike Tactical (LAR) that is now an SBR.

Comparing the 3 brands, I had the most problems from the Bushy. (It left here a year ago). It didn't live up to the hype advertisers claim. Instead of The best by a long shot, IMO, No where even close would be more like it.
