true dat. My norinco sks i bought when i was 16 (almost 13 years ago) is my hunting rifle for most of those 13 years. It will drop the biggest bucks they have in these parts just fine.

Has anyone gotten a bum or mis represented gun yet?

I honestly don’t care about scratches, dings, dents etc. They said the ar15s were stored in bulk so does that mean literally stacked, no foam or paper wrapping just scratching each other. If so that’s fine for me for the price.

I am just not super knowledgeable about all the ar15 makes and models and want a long barrel and a good values, but this grab bag style of sales just worries me I will get total junk internals.

They say: “Lowers are a mix of manufactures and include CMMG, DPMS, and Doublestar."

How hard is it to label each box and say we have X amount off CMMG left. That would ease my mind.

I am wavering. I would be willing to spend quite a bit more for the exact ar I want but might feel like a sucker in a few months when I learn more. I am torn here.

Well gee..... If they are stored in bulk and not in boxes it's going to be a cast iron bitch to mark those non-existent boxes isn't it???

And damn man. You are paying $585 (shipped) for an AR-15/M4gery. If you want perfection look somewhere else. If you are worried about getting non-top shelf parts look somewhere else.

I personally bought a M4gery. And there is not a mark on it. In fact I would guess that it was built within 48 hours of being shipped.

I've bought 4 of the "hand select", two the 1st order and then another two when I saw the condition of the 1st two. All were DPMS and as Cannibul said, they all looked like fresh builds. There was even fresh silicone grease on the threads. Out of the four, the only marks I could find were on one rifle lower and they looked like a couple of very light pencil marks. I contacted DPMS and they said that the serial #'s (ending in "k") indicated that these lowers left their plant as stripped lowers, rather than whole rifles, so even though they are shown as "used rifles", they might actually be brand new builds.

Thumbs up

Kudo's to CMMG for doing a fine job of putting a black rifle into as many hands of law abiding citizens as possible !

sure but they mail them in boxes, and they arent doing anything to them special for me (after i order they just grab the next rifle and drop in a box), why not put them in the same box they are eventually going to put them in, label it, then tell me what they have in stock. Not rocket science.

They no doubt have a pile of boxes and you can get some little white printer labels at staples for 1 penny each. i just bough some ... 252 labels for $2.52 Only reason i am suspicious is that is so easy. When someone WONT do something easy to make a sale i get suspicious.

Then don't buy from them. Means more inexpensive black rifles for the rest of us. If having the best price on a AR around is not enough to make a sale then I guess you are one of those people that are NEVER going to be happy.
