If you're still thinking M4 type.....I just got a LMT upper and I'm
 with it.Can't go wrong with Sabre either. Or watch the EE on ar15.com for a good deal on a Colt upper. I got a SOCOM heavy barrel M4 upper last year on there for $365  Take your time, do your research and hunt around a bit. Mike since this is the top of page 2 here is a pic of the SOCOM barrel
