I was looking at this upper from WOA. Anyone know about this upper?

Which upper? They offer more than one... they make some of the best custom AR's in the business. Can't speak to their traditional uppers in detail, but if their custom weapons are any indicator, you could do far worse.. like colt or lmt

I was looking at this one. .223 Varmint Rifle

This upper is ideally suited for the small game or varmint hunter or even the informal target shooter. The 1-7 twist barrel is machined to W.O.A. specifications and will perform well with a wide variety of bullet weights. The optional spiral fluting helps to reduce weight while the black White Oak Precision custom varmint float tube is ventilated to help cool the barrel. A front sling swivel stud is provided for mounting a sling or a bipod.
Only $590
I dont really like the fluting, so I wouldnt pay for that, but for shooting coyotes out to 300 yards or so, should be the ticket.

I ordered 2 CMP kits from them. One was an upper (unassembled) and was excellent quality. Good communication, etc. Definitely good to deal with.

A guy I shoot 3- gun with has one, but it's not the varmint upper. It's a 20" bull. Sweet rifle. It's not even fair shooting the 12" plates at 500. Just line up the right line on the ACOG, and it's it bang-clank.

Yeah you'll be pleased with that and the price is better than I thought it would be when you start talking about WO's stuff.

300yrds is pretty damn easy with an AR, ACOG it if you've got the money, other wise slap a decent or better quality 10x on it and you'll be nailing those mini-zombies nicely beyond 300yrd.
