I'm just going back and forth on what to get. It will be used for coyotes and jack rabbits. The RRA Coyote rifle I can get for 959 shipped. but then I have the $25 FFL background etc. I can get this upper shipped strait to me and get a lower at the upcoming gunshow. I think it will be the WO though, with replies like these.

This upper is ideally suited for the small game or varmint hunter or even the informal target shooter. The 1-7 twist barrel is machined to W.O.A. specifications and will perform well with a wide variety of bullet weights. The optional spiral fluting helps to reduce weight while the black White Oak Precision custom varmint float tube is ventilated to help cool the barrel. A front sling swivel stud is provided for mounting a sling or a bipod.
Only $590
I dont really like the fluting, so I wouldnt pay for that, but for shooting coyotes out to 300 yards or so, should be the ticket.

If you plan to use it for anything other than bench rifle shooting dont get that heavy of a barrel as they are a bitch to carry in the field and the heavy barrel screws up the ballance bad. A 20" flat top with a free float tube and medium contour barrel will suit your needs better. Believe me I just sold a upper similar to that one. A Upper set up like the Bushy Predator would be much handier in the field. Oh and White Oak Uppers are top notch so see if they'll build you one similar to the Bushy.

Are you saying the above would be better in the field?

Yep that is exactly what I'm saying. Lighter weight and just as accurate. The heavy weight barrels are ment for competition, Wiley coyote dont need the extra weight as your shots are going to be few and far between. If you were going to be sitting over a prarie dog town the extra weight would help with heat dissipation.

I gotta admit, I wouldn't want to tote one of those bull barrels around. I don't think you'll be sitting around banging shot after shot at a coyote. My 16" Bushy M4 countour is surprisingly accurate at 500 yards, with a $69 scope.

I don't know anything from personal experience...

... but I've read nothing but RAVE reviews and 5 star reviews and 2 thumbs up reviews about their uppers on many gun forums. They seem to know what they're doing and come highly recommended.
