Depends on what you want to do with the light. For serious work, consider something with a metal body and as many lumens as you can get. Though most any tac light will be 60 lumens or more.

For general purpose use, I have an Ombu/cammillus light on my XD, and a G2 nitrolon w/upgrade 120 lumen bulb on my AR SBR.

Personally, I think the anti shock bezel is a good idea, though more as a preventive type of upgrade and not necessarily a mandantory upgrade. After thousands of rounds fired with and without the light on, I have yet to blow a bulb due to recoil, so I think it's basically un-necessary, but there's always that one time.
