Plum Colored...Magazines

This is something new. Can anyone describe
the coloration and the reasoning for the
'Plum' color?

I dont think there is any other difference besides the fact of it being a different color. For instance take the Bulgarian AK plum color mags, they are exactly the same as black just a different color.

I think its just a marketing thing.

We used to use electrical tape to color code out mags in the army, depending on load out.. i.e. tracer vice non-tracer.. That would be the only useful purpose I could think of....
