ok does your bolt while in the BGC move in and out freely or does it take a fair amount of pressure to move it? my bolt is pretty hard to move in and out and i was just wondering if this is normal
this is when the bolt carrier group is out of the gun and im moveing ithe bolt by hand

Throw another 900 rounds or so down the barrel.

That should fix it

Gas rings are probably dragging a bit

ok i took the BCG out and i was wondering if you could test something for me since one persons idea of moving freely might be different from someone elses
ok i took out the BGC and pulled the bolt out as far as possible and set it on the table bolt first and the bolt doesnt move
im not too worried about it at all just curious

I'd say that's pretty stiff. Again, I wouldn't worry about it, it just needs more shootin'

Yes they do wear out and sometimes break, but you have a ways to go unless something freaky wierd happens... A spare parts kit will have assorted pins, springs, and rings in it and is always nice to have if something should fail

Just to note, my bolt will drop into the BCG under its own weight when held vertically (bolt up)
