ar 22 conversion

can you use this with your current barrel? it seems like you can but just did seem right even though they are the same size diamiter bullet also has anybody used these before?http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/ARR059-21126-1884.html

Oly has one that you tap an insert into the barrel chamber which turns it into a .22lr chamber.

The olympic arms kit looks like this one too. That piece on the end that looks like a .223 casing inserts into the barrel chamber.

Looks like the Cenier kit. Works great. Can sit all afternoon with a brick of 22 and not worry about "Ka-CHING"!!!

It's easy to install. Just remove the bolt carrier and put it in. Takes about as long as you can push out an push in the take-down pin.

Just run a .223 through it after if possible to clean out the gas system.

If you pick up a conversion kit, I suggest one of those Black Dog Machine 30 rounders. Slick piece for the money. Haven't heard of but a few problems with them.
