made a couple of more mods to it since that pic was taken. I figured it was not heavy enough so I put on Railed Handguards and a Foregrip to weigh her down more . As you can see it makes it's little brother M4 look tiny.

Now all you need is the PRS stock for it to re-weight the back end

it is a combat/cqb/infantry rifle.. not a range toy or DMS. so no need for the PRS.
Also, I need the folding stock in case of WWIII and all the cars get unusable because of EMF pulses and the only vehicles left are armored personal carriers, the folding stock allows me to easily get in and out of them.

Just think though, add the PRS and you could do post apocalyptic bench presses with it to pass the time
Which optic do you have sitting on top of that beast and where did you get the railed forend?

That's true... did not think about using it as a bench press bar. When the SHTF I most likely will leave my weight lifting equipment behind, so good to know I have something as a substitute.
It is a Millet DMS1 1-4x. I like a lot. Gonna pick up another for a spare. I know there are better scopes, but the Millet glass comes dam close to my Mark4 and ACOG glass at only $220 ($1000+ for the others).
The rails I got from DSA. had to wait like 3 months to get it.

The Millet's are getting some funky reviews at ARFCOM because of some film inside the tube and coating the glass and it's something that you can really only see in low light? Been kinda waiting on them to solve that QA issue before I do that and the SPR mount. Good to know from a local that it's still good stuff.

Thanks Nikon! It's my only rifle, but I consider myself really fortunate to have an AR. Those CAA saddles are pretty cool. Don't have any experience with the Hogue grips (or seen them for that matter -anyone got a pic?) BTW, are you considering this upcoming build to be the 9mm AR you've were thinking of putting together? Can't wait to see the pics!
