I'd like to know what kind of taping that is on the VFG and Pistol Grip?

ARin uses hocky stick grip tape. It works great.
Badshot, if you want to try some, I've got a roll at home left over. The rolls come in a 3 pack.

Larue mounts are just way overpriced. That magnifier went for only $30 on CTD, then Larue decides to buy them all up, now you have to pay $250 for the same magnifier!

Snagged mine for $180 and I've not had a LaRue mount before, but the thing is built like a tank. I can't think of a way through typical use that it could be broken.. might could even use it to pry open a door if needed.
And the "Po Boy" specials as they call em' are $195 direct from LaRue. They cleared the reticle and purged the nitrogen, so a bit of a mark up it called for. Then again given the cost of the AP or EOT mags, this is a screamin' deal.
