When I assemble lowers I just put them inside a small garbage bag to install the detents. If one goes flying it will at least stay in the bag.

I tapped the hole, put a small set screw and finished it with loctite. You also need to cut a few coils off the spring. Never lose it again, unless you take out the set screw.

Don't worry about any offense. It only shows the kind of problems that we in California have. I had to do all that just so I could use detachable magazines. My next build will have all kind of "Evil" features due to the fact that I will be using a Bullet Button which will need a tool to release the magazine. I will also get som 10/20 magazines so that it will look very nice. I will post pictures when I get it completed.

I'm super jealous! I'd love to have a set up like that at home! I've never fired an Uzi, how is it? I've fired the M249, 240B, M2 .50 cal, and Mk19 grenade launcher, and of course the M4 on 3 round bursts and it never gets old!
