I bought the sight directly from the manufacturer, Patriot Ordnance Factory. I believe their advertised price is $65.

As far as adjusting, it works the same as your standard A2 front sight. The post is not directly under the hood. It is protected, but still easy to get to. I depressed the post detent with the tip of a retracted ball point pen, and spun the post up or down with my finger to the desired elevation.
