It's a night vision laser unit. You can only see the laser if you are looking through a night vision device.

Thanks for the comments guys.
Actually, it's really hard for me to say how much this setup cost me since most of the items I got for special prices. I'm actually just messing around with the uppr, trying to find exactly what I want to do with it. I am still waiting for it's stripped lower to complete it. Here is what is on the pic: ArmaLite M15A4 lower (cannot be bought seperately, comes from another rifle) LMT 10.5" upper w/enhanced carrier and bolt Trigger job (done by me) at 4 lbs., single stage, no creep, no overtravel, short reset. Ergogrip grip "gapper" Surefire handguard rail system Yankee Hill Machine flash supressor ArmaLite carry handle The upper including bolt carrier, bolt and charging handle is MSRP 734.75$ USD A good lower already assembled is around 500.00$ USD The Surefire rail forend is 200$ USD The YHM Phantom flash hider/comp is 30.00$ USD Quality carrying handle is about 150.00$ 30 round mag is 20.00$ USD That brings us to a total of roughly 1,650.00$ USD Oh and an XD-9 Tactical at 500$ |

Its basically the following - Eagle Arms AR15 platform (Armalite corporation now) - Vltor stock and buffer tube - Surefire front end rail - Picatinny gas block (quad rail style) - Levang Compensator (those who shoot in lanes beside you will thank you) - EOTech 552 Holosight (I do sub MOA groupings at 30 meter offhanded with this badboy) - flip up rear sight (now replaced with Yankee Hill front and rear sights) - Samco Grip - Generic vert grip on front - Generic tac flashlight, flashlight is a Pelican - Standard Knight Armorment rail covers... I put it together a bit at a time - gettting some of those parts up here in Canada was tough. Getting the Levang comp was luck - found an exporter who finally would send it. Everyone in ARs up here are into the Krinkov pig comps right now, but I really like the Levang... |
