First off, thanks.

I spent all summer doing research and found that IMO it is probably best to get a factory built rifle as your first. I looked at all of the manufacturers and felt that I was getting the most bang for my buck with Rock River Arms (especially with it having the 2 stage trigger). The base price for my rifle is $869 which is pretty competitive. I got the surefire rails put on mine but for an extra $100, Legal Transfers (Great place, Pete will take care of ya ) will put 'cheaper' RRA rails on it that will look just like mine. If you have any more specific questions about my particular rifle, PM me.

build your own. the cost is deffinately lower and it is really easy if you can read.
