Updated pictures of my AR.
Just put on the Eotech with the GG&G Accucam quick detach, GG&G Lens covers.
today got my FUG and rail covers from LaRue. So now shes perdy for pictures.
Still need to get a BUIS to even the look out and have a backup!

I noticed some people have those buttstock saddles for cheek support, how well do these work, I was thinking about getting one

Ha! No, not yet. My paperwork is still making it's way through the local Sheriff's office (like a month). Hopefully I'll get it back soon to send out to ATF.

So once you get the paperwork to the ATF ,how long does it take to get your tax stamp back to you? And BTW barrel lenght are you going with? 11.5 or 14.5 , and what maker are you going with?

I think the wait time is around 3 months.
I think I'm going with a 8.5" upper. I'll try and find the link...the upper is somewhere in here.
Now that I have to do my paperwork again I'm not sure...10.5" sounds good too...

K I've been looking at a lot of these pictures (even though I shouldn't) and have always wanted an AR, but now I really want one. I don't know a whole lot about them and that's why I'm asking those of you who do...

What is considered to be the best/most practical round for target shooting, maybe SOME hunting (when the mood strikes), and possibly competition, that is if I ever decide to get into any competitive shooting?

Also, could someone list some good AR websites that has good deals on parts/upgrades?
