Well, to be honest as you know it's not cheap but it does work well. When full it nearly doubles your guns weight but does the job of a several regular mags. It makes it real easy to burn through a lot of ammo and $$ and if you're a "Bump Shooter" it will get your barrel Very HOT. I got mine used for a steal. I don't think I could ever justify a new purchase. You got to admit, it does look bad A$$. If I were you, I'd rather have buy several H&K mags. HK sure knows how to build a quality product. I have two for my AR and love 'em.
