I don't know about a $125 airbrush. But I've used Duracoat in a cheap air brush. It cleans up very easily and completely with lacquer thinner or the reducer that LCW sells.

Did you do any kind of clear coat over it? I have used Krylon before and used a hardening clear coat to protect the Krylon. I only say it because your paint job looks awesome and I would hate for it to get chipped.

i was kicking the idea around, do they make a flat clear? i'm just nervous about it getting glossy because i def. dont want that

They sure do.. and it's a PITA to get off. Brake cleaner seems the only hope at this point, short of sandblasting

I've put it through my airbrush and it works just fine. Just make sure to use the reducer to clean your airbrush.
