Stag AR with Magpul parts

Check it ut...I'd get this, but I know I should wait for the entire Magpul to emerge. I dream of Magpul every night and wake up in a pool of my own drool:

That's a nice setup. I'm sure you could build one yourself cheaper than $1925 (which is exactly what they're doing). The description is a little misleading though...IIRC Stag is not mil-spec. It's still a sweet looking carbine!

Yeah I'm seeing someone there that thinks they built a great gun, and I'm sure it's pretty good, but for that price it should be LMT and LaRue through and through.

Go build it yourself and spend the left overs on ammo or an optic

The Masada is going to be all that and a bag of chips if you believe the hype (yup I feed into that ) but it's going to be around this time next year before we're getting our grubby little hands on them without paying through the nose. Not to mention, if you're going to drop $1600-$1900 on an AR and you don't get a Piston upper or a Custom Match gun... you're just plain silly and have too much money to toss around.. in which case I would insist that you adopt me and give me all the spare money so I can continue to feed my guns.

A friend of mine owns a gun shop and sells high quality weapons, no hunting arms, newer military/polics and ccw type weapons. he has someone build piston operated AR-15's and sells them at a fairly decent price. www.peabodysports.com
He has run 1000 rounds of junk ammo through one and it looked like it had less than 100 rounds through it. i saw it personaly afterwards.

MSRP: $1925.00
Buy it Now for $1925.

What am I missing here? Who pays MSRP for stuff? The suggested retail price is always on the high end of what they sell for.

I'd suggest looking into one of these, the M6a2 is around that price and the gas piston system rocks.
