Nice. I would have left some of the various parts black for added accent. Trigger, charging handle, mag release button, forward assit, and the trigger and take down pins. Thats just me however...good job

i always bump it but im scared to break it, i took my stock off a while back and didnt thread it in enough, oops, the detent pin popped out and got flattened by the bolt carrier, lol. my dad gets mad when i do this. lol i think he does. here are two vids. oldies but goodies. notice how i practice perfect gun safety keeping the barrel down range. its cool how you notice that you do these things without having to think about it. dont mind the whiny girl in the back thats my girlfriend getting blasted by the concussion. lol

I think the rate of fire is the same, sometimes you just get "in the groove" a little better than other times. The AR is probably not cycling up to it's potential since it has a buffer in the stock and a firm hold is what is needed to work properly (almost like limp wristing, if you know what I mean ).
I've got a MAK-90 that is just awesome to bump fire. Beeerrrruuuurrrppp!

Also, anyone that is considering giving this a try is warned to be VERY CAREFUL!

How durable is this coating? It seems to take quite a bit of abuse.

It seems pretty durable so far, although I haven't shot either of the 2 guns I've Duracoated.

But I did jam a screwdriver into the frame of this S+W Model 10 as I was re-assembling it.

You can barely see the mark below the S+W emblem. Didn't make it through the Duracoat to the metal. I may touch it up later. Color is #6 Parker.

Ah, so you're agalindo's son? Yeah, I saw the Wolf Grey XD in one of his other posts and was very impressed. I was also extremely impressed with the Hello Kitty job he did.

Some very nice work done on all of those!
