Wow, keep me posted.

I have been contemplating if I should buy a kit and receiver or a built rifle...this could be a good answer!!

There is a post on arf.com about a guy from bethlehem and some of those guys were interested as well. So far i do not have any headspace gauges. I would like a set of manson gauges but the wait is too long. Brownells sells manson reamers gauges as well for $30 a pop. I wanted to get the go and the no go gauge instead of just the field gauge.

I'd love to get in on the build, however, I'm way down south. Actually, after reading the original post, I started googling ak's and ar's. The jigs for the ar plates are real expensive. The ar jigs are cheaper, but the 80% blocks are more expensive over the plates. Now I can't decide what to build, and I don't know anyone in my area that has built either before. Good luck with ya'lls build.

I have all of my jigs built. I started crushing a few rivets by hand but it did not turn out that great because I had a receiver whish already had the center support in it. So the rivets are coming back out and I am using my press. Besides that I have ten sets of rivets 1 completed nds receiver and 5 flats to bend.

From what i understand a firearm or functioning receiver can be built only for personal use. Because it does not have a serial number and whatnot it is not legal to be sold or transferred to another party. Its yours forever or risk prosecution.

Unless you buy a 100% receiver then you can sell and trade all you want because they are stamped by the manufacturer.

When you sell it, you serialize it and add the builder info......just like builder do.
