M&P 15X update pics/range report/tula ammo
So as some of you know I picked up my first AR platform rifle recently. Well I finally broke down and bought a red dot for this rifle. It is just one of a few upgrades I have added. The sight is a Sightmark Ultra Dual Shot QD. So far so good with this sight. The glass is crystal clear and seems to be very durable. For the $119 I payed for it, kinda can't beat it.

Not to long ago I asked in a post about Tula steel case ammo. Most of the replies I recieved were suprisingly good! So I went and bought a bunch of it from the local Wallyworld . Me and a buddy took a trip up to one of the local ranges this past weekend to go test out this Steel ammo. Well what can I say, it fired and cycled great. Never got one jamb, although it did have a pretty nasty smell. A couple hundred rounds and no issues, I can live with that for sure. Let me tell you though, cleaning it was a MESS!!!! I never seen a gun so dirty! Be prepared if you plan to shoot this stuff.

Long story short, I got both the red dot and iron sights sighted in up to 100yds. Everything co-witnessed just right. As far as the Rifle goes, I am very glad I bought it when I did and I couldn't be any happier with it. Just want to say thanks for everyone's help so far. Here are some pics of my toys! Hmmm whats next!?

Glad to hear that the Tulammo runs great in the M&P. I bought several hundred rounds of it and haven't had a chance to try it out yet.

One thing I did do is LUBE the heck out of it. I believe that may have helped if there was going to be any feed issues.

I run tulAmmo and Herters all day long in my M&P. 3500 rounds and not a single issue.
