I did it as we'll bought 3 more pmags at lgs for $41 each. Ouch, but three more in hand.

I'm not happy with my LGS either. Of the three that I normally visit they all are pricing something ridiculous.
I guess if you really have to have PMags then paying that much is your choice but the prices are already falling. I'm thinking it won't be long before you will be able to get them close to normal price easily.

Hell, my LGS can't even get Pmags, or any other mags in to sell now. Let alone gouge. I will say, they have not raised prices on a thing since all this crap. Just very limited AR effects and ammo of all types. I know some are not happy with Troy's descisions to sell their Battlemags online only, and at a slight price increase, but they are available.

disregard...here's what the LCJ Wholesale website said this morning...
As of 8am 1-21-13 we will not be accepting any new orders. Any invoice # 9170 and above will be cancelled.
Expect deliveries in 4-6 weeks. Your CC will not be charged until day of shipment.

I think the Patriot Outfitters pays shipping as well. So that would knock a couple bucks off if you compare apples to apples with other distributors.

Prices may be falling but availability is still gonna suck! It's the "bird in the hand" mentality! If you walk into a LGS and they have them for $41.00 do you buy them or get put on a waiting list for god knows how long for a lesser price? I think most people who didn't prepare will go ahead and pay!
