AR15 did a group buy a few years ago. There around 120 or so made. They still pop up every now and then on ar15 and local GA sites. This is the only upper I have seen marked GA15. I bought it in a private sale from a guy who already registered it as a SBR and never built it. I got lucky and it was worth the wait. I also got really lucky on my tax stamp wait at 2 months and a day from pending to approved. Had a situation come up with the seller and they had to expedite.

That came out really nice! How do you like the .300 over 5.56/.223. I almost pulled the trigger on a SniperCo .300 the other day but I for sure would want it in SBR, Awesome rifle.

I love the 300. I hunt hogs with it. I also like the 6.8 a lot. I am not the biggest fan of 223/556. There are just better options in the AR platform out there. Not saying the 300 is the best either, but for my applications it works great. 300 bo is my overall favorite in the AR just because of its versatility and 6.8 is my favorite for hunting in the AR. I am building a dedicated 22 upper next just to plink with.

I want an SBR so bad, and I will register one in the spring I swear this time. I was going to do it in september and get all my parts but I figured the election was not going to go well and blew all my money on ammo. kinda glad I did.
Nice work, but for mine I will go with a very light and compact optic like an aimpoint to keep it slim. I really just want a reason to have a flaming pig, seriously.

I have just a red dot for it as well, but really like the Vortex for hunting.

Just dropped her off for a new paint job. Cerakoting the upper lower and rail in burnt bronze. Will have her back early next week. Can't wait.
