That's why I have a Surefire 60 and two 30-round mags coupled together. Wait, that's not why...it's 'cause I shoot competition and don't want to reload quite so often.

Hunt and SD with both. I favor the 6.8 for hunting though.

Those in NY keep voting for those who choose to tell them what they need and don't need. Right now, they don't need any mag larger than 7 rounds, and a soft drink over 12 oz. What's next??

The whole country can go to this extreme, and further....Then what do we have?? Tyranny? Socialism?

The fact that the president keeps making this statement that we all need to take care of each other. I strongly disagree, as this is socialism. I have an obligation to take care of myself, my family, and my property. Not my neighbor. If I choose to take care of my neighbor, than that is my choice.

Just like if I choose to own an AR-15, or six of them, that is MY choice.

All above is true and yes, because we can and just because we have them doesn't mean they are intended for bad use on people or defenseless victims.

As for the Government trying to say they are used for killing, TEXTING and DRIVING Kills more defenseless people than any gun crime. Drinking and Driving the same. Get rid of cell phones and beer and I'll turn in my guns' Bet the Presidents daughters have cell phones and wait till they drive. We'll see who is guilty of a victimless crime.

Time will tell and also AR's are like one person said, a big boys legos. I use to have them and have built a lower recently for my wife and daughter. They have a blast shooting it. Oh ya, it's a 22LR upper. Much cheaper to use... 50 boewulf is next. I need to cut down some tree's while the wife trims the grass....

Why not an AR??? I don't care much for British Webleys, but I know a guy who owns about a dozen... I would never impose my dislike on his right to own an ugly wheelie! lol

I suppose it's legal for deer hunting-but almost nobody does this.So is it just a range gun? Why all the frenzy to get one? to sit in the safe?I agree they are cool looking guns, and fun to shoot, but what is the need for one?I'd rather have a 12 ga. for home defense.Maybe im wrong.
Almost nobody shoots varmits? Maybe not in your little world, but
they sure do in alot of places. The AR in it's many calibers is a very
versatile gun.

Seriously, just to have it and learn a new weapon if you have never used one. I served overseas with them and they are just about the most versatile rifle out. IMHO.
