Greensguns.com - taking preorders on 900 round boxes of 5.56, he says it is a confirmed shipment and is taking orders now for delivery in March, he is trying to move it up. He's asking $430/900 so in light of what is going on I didn't think that was too bad. I ordered mine last night. I bought 600 rounds from him about three weeks ago and have it already, good stuff - AMA brand with the nato cross on it.

I see a lot of places and (private sales too) trimming off a hundred or so rounds from the usual bulk amounts and charging what almost looks like pre-frenzy prices. This is the equivalent of meth/coke dealers diluting their supply for their own profit.
OK, had to get that off my chest.

Do you realize that for that $430 you could set up a good reloading press and every thing else you would need to reload that 900 rounds?
Now is an even better time to start reloading, the biggest problem is finding components.

Exactly what you said though dglock, you have to find the components. Cabellas still had some primers for 'decent' price. ~45/1000, but good luck finding powder, everywhere I've looked is out. Well, with one exception, my LGS, but he's pretty much tripled his prices including his transfer fees, so I'll make sure to never buy anything there again.

Got my final shipment of 1K rounds Lake City 55g .223 today. I ordered several of these just before Christmas so 3 weeks isn't bad but I think people are seeing 3 or 4 month waits for good fresh reloadable LC brass.
In the past year I've paid as low as .34/rd and as high as .42/rd for .223 and from .21/rd to .24/rd for 7.62x39.
