They had some 1,000 round boxes of Federal the other day for $749.99 which I believe comes to around $0.75 a round. I think right now if you're lucky to find that you should grab it. Usually in the early morning hours when they have it.

I know demand is through the roof, but you would really think that all the ammo manufacturers would be working 24/7 to ramp up production. My usual source of bulk ammo (Georgia Arms) blames a shortage of components, but again, why would component manufacturers not be cranking stuff out? Is everyone just filling backorders just now? I'm lucky I guess, I have about 4K rounds of .223 right now, but I'm loathe to go out a shoot a bunch without knowing that I can replace it.
