Scar 17 to keep my SCAR 16 company
Well, given all the nonsense going on in La-La land (aka Washington, DC) I accelerated my plan to pick up a SCAR 17 for my collection. I even managed to get it before the price went completely insane. It arrives at my LGS and what happens? Our instant background check system is now a 7-10 day wait system due to an almost 11,000 check backlog. Here's hoping I can finally take it home by the end of next week.
I'll see about posting some pics once I can finally get it home.

i bought my ar on 12/27/12 and didn't have to wait at all to get the gun, background check passed and i was out the door in 10 minutes. guess it's gotten A LOT worse since i bought mine.

I went with the black. It's kinda funny in a way. Back when I bought my SCAR 16, FDE was hard to find. When I went looking for the 17, half the stuff I was looking at was FDE.
