Found a honey hole of used AR mags. You might get lucky too!
Just a little tip, my local Army Navy store has steel mags used in Afghanistan etc. for $8.50 (two for $16.00) some are banged up but you can usually find a bunch still in good shape. So check your local Army Navy store
Not in bad shape at all, function perfectly! just a bit of cosmetic crap but who cares!

I found a gun shop/surplus store in Laurie, MO selling bashed, destroyed, smashed military mags for...
Wait for it..
$50 a PIECE.
They looked like they were run over by a tank. I don't think most would function....
But...the owner is a puke.

What a doucher! $50 a piece!!! INSANE, I'm bout to go back and buy the whole crate of mags and sell them for $10.00 a piece!

Was just at my LGS and they had tons of AR mags (metal & plastic) at reasonable prices. Luckily I dont need any I seem to locate 12 every time I deploy.

I'd buy a bunch if you did that.
We don't haz no mil-surp store near me.  They say they are a mil-surp store,but all they sell are ammo cans; nothing else.

I gave away a bunch of 20 and 30 rd. steel mags to a friend of mine a couple of years ago.

I came to look into the great Honey Hole with a entirely different thing in mind. 
Thanks for the share, and my local Surplus store is also cashing in on this great scare.... it's pretty ridiculous.

Nice, they are a little dry around here lately, and yea thats one eay to get mags lol.
