Nice looking AR! I would STAY AWAY from that GARBAGE TulAmmo though!!! In less than 30 rounds, and empty got jammed in the barrel and took forever to get it out using a metal rod from the end of the muzzle to get it out. stick with Federal or Remington. Always stay away from any lacquered ammo as AR's tend to get gummed up from the heated barrel melting it...

A friend of mine picked up one of those before prices went crazy for $799, so I don't think you did bad considering what ar's are going for now. I seen the same one selling last week on armslist for $1600!

Yea, the guy threw this ammo in when I bought the gun. Thanks for the heads up.

Good deal. I got an M&P a couple weeks ago for $1300. That was my price limit as I already own one but wanted another to add a 6.8mm Rem upper to it for deer hunting. I got two 5 round mags as well. For snow shoeing and skiing or hiking to where I hunt. Very light and easy to cary with snow shoes and a pack. You can put them through things I wouldn't want to do with my Browning 7mm Rem Mag. Besides, unless I'm out shooting mountain goats or long range elk, the 7mm is a bit much. The 6.8mm should be perfect for white tails. The stock should be awesome for shouldering with a pack or readjusting for droping the pack at camp and stalking with a coat or jacket. My original AR is just for constitutional protection. It's still 5.56 .

Well here are a few pics of some of my orders that came in so far. I am getting ready to paint all the lower receiver engraving with flat dark earth as well.

Here is another AR that I build last year, sporting Magpul OD furniture

Here is my AR Pistol build from last year as well

What did you use to paint all the engravings?

I used flat dark paints from testors model paint. I bought a set that came with all flat colors. I think it was a battle tank paint set.

My cousin helped me out and accidentially painted the Fire "white" and the Safe "Red". I will fit it later. We done all 4 of our rifles that eveing.
