Problem solved!

1st picture says it all in about .4 seconds

Notice that dragy scrapy "key on the paint" look down the side of the shell, and that shiny little ding right above the rim?

BURR or left over bullet coating that's stuck in the chamber...time to rub a dub dub scrub it clean (ever heard of sticky bolt syndrome on the Russian Man cannon...well same thing..but on an AR that FORCEABLY snatches the round out with gas pressure... what do you expect to give...the extractor, or that soft maleable metal of the cartridge

Your AR is doing what it is supposed to be doing...YOU ain't! Clean the chamber shiny smooth!

Believe it or not...a teeny bit of gun oil on the fingers when you load your mags also helps [kinda like resizing oil], keeps em slicky smooth

see 139 for 500 is super cheap and thus the reason people buy and shoot it compared to 175 at the cheapest for wally world .223 american eagle or federal...

Well i know that i fired 2000 rounds of Herters without cleaning the rifle..... And in the first 500 rounds i have at least 10 problems with the tula seems like a ammo problem to me not a rifle problem. If i have to clean my AR after 500 rounds i should have bought a AK.

I couldn't even begin to count the number of steel rounds I have put throughmy 2 ARs (Colt Sporter and Doublestar). I have never ever had a failure of anytype either with the rifle or the ammo. I have yet to replace any part due towear or breakage. But then I clean and maintain my rifles the way I was taughtin the Marines. I shoot them, I clean them...thoroughly. Every time.

and as a after thought i think i should add that when i take the AR out it gets a few hundred rounds put through it in a day and cleaned that night so it's not like it never gets cleaned and in my situation it is full auto so that may not help either.

extractor marks on the case head are usually not a problem with ammo and more of a problem with the timing of the rifle. What length is your barrel?
