As a side note, its REALLY awesome how many bullet choices you have to load the round with. Its essentially a semi auto sharps rifle, its frikkin fun. Brass is a little harder as only starline makes the .458 bass, but they are really good quality so they last for several loadings.
I take it you reload for the platform... What would you say your price per round is at the end of the day? I like to reload so it isn't all about money, especially with so many bullet options in the .458, I'm just hoping it beats 3 bucks per round.

I haven't run the numbers recently, but i seem to recall that it ended up being about the same as .308 to load.

Wow all those comment with zero pics. It's very difficult to find brass (also expensive) but the rest the components are easily found. In my opinion it depends on the weight & charge of the round but it can be compare to a 20ga shotgun.
