Just an update....PWS MK series in 7.62x39. Fantastic rifle, love it. Eats cheap steel ammo all day, shoots tight groups, piston driven, easy to clean (if you even feel like cleaning it), looks cool, and light weight. Downside is, you will pay for it, and wait for it.
PWS MK114 7.62x39 in FDE:

yea, they did, and about a month after I ordered it, PWS had on their site that they no longer will be cerakoting their rifles and the lead time went way up. they did a great job, and I read a ton about mag issues with the caliber, but the ASC mags have been great.

I have the same two PWS MK114s, the first is the 5.56 and the second is the 7.62x39 which is being shipped.
There is one major problem with them however. Once you have one, you just want more.

You post this as I am sitting here trying to justify getting a MK216. I'm already dead set on going the NFA route for a MK110 and gemtech halo.
They just run amazingly simple and clean, lightweight, and look darn good. They are rifle crack.

OH and forgot, you will freaking love that rifle once you get it. I have everything from larue to high end custom built ARs and the 7.62x39 is by far my favorite(partly because its the coolest looking AR I own, but mostly because it doesnt hurt the wallet as bad to burn thru a case of wolf 7.62x39 ammo)
I had a hard time finding the ASC mags 7-8 months ago, but I got mine at a decent price from hamlund tactical I think.
