Sounds like a nice gun and cheap to shoot. I am impressed with most pistol cals with a full barrel for velocity and penetration concerns

They have a couple RRA's at my LGS and the cheapest tag on them I seen was $1100.00. Sounds like a good deal at $700 w/only 100rds down range. It would be fun little rifle & pretty cheap to shoot. Good luck.

Hi,

I have one. Paid $1,000 new for it. I about 500 rounds through it. No issues. The chart above was 9mm 147grain through a 5 barrel. The extra barrel length with give more velocity, about 200 f/s more. I use mine for 3 gun match shooting. It's easier to see your hits on paper with large 9mm hole then the little .223 holes.

Also if your thinking performance. A 115grain 9MM at 100yrds will still have about 280 ft/lb of energy. Its not a reach out and touch someone rifle but still effective.

$700 is a good price. Is it an A2 integral carry handle or A4 flat top?

An AR for home defense is silly...be it 9mm or .223/5.56...

Using that chart you provided...I'll gladly stick with my 12ga and 00 buck...

Hi,

The OP asked if it was a good deal and did not mention POU. He was asking for Pros and cons. Those would depend on the POU.

It is a rifle that has its place. I like mine. It shoots straight. I can ring steel at 100yrds. Makes big holes in paper. More accurate than a handgun. Not as loud as tapered cartridge round, if varminting on a farm.

Either way, Its a great rifle. Not a war machine, but services its purpose well.
