not the fault of the stock, fault the design of the ARs buffer system. How exactly would you interlock the safety when the stock is folded?

So are you planning on buying one or do you already have it?

If you look at the foot note on the front page graphic it says, "* The Law Tactical Folding Stock Adaptor is not designed to be fired when folded."

Might be good for storing in a case or scabard....

I can see how this sort of thing would be a great idea for a SHTF scenario...You could easily store the rifle in a bag that wouldn't resemble a rifle case, making you more inconspicuous should you have to travel through a heavy populated area....

Other than that, I wouldn't purchase one...

I'm still having trouble with the "why" question. The AR design was just not made for folding stocks. Just isn't how it is designed. Now that might be a problem that would merit a work around, if there weren't a ton of other designs that ARE made for folding stocks. If I wished to have a folding stock, I'd have something other than an AR. A SCAR and a SIG551 would top the list of ones I'd look at.

I don't get the obsession some companies/people have with trying to make a gun in to something it isn't. I all kinds of love my AR, but I've never said "Man I wish I had a folding stock." In fact, I decided up front I didn't wish to have one, and hence the AR was an option for me.

If this didn't have the potential to kill someone it would make for a funny prank.

The same reason SlideFire or what ever their name is came out with that sliding stock to make bump firing easy.

Same reason someone makes a sling mount with a bottle opener on it.

Same reason why all this ZOMBIE stuff is the rage now.

Why?

People will buy it.

no plans to buy one but people should stop jumping on the conclusions mat so quickly.

I dont see why people are upset you cant fire this folded. I've fired my ACR folded and its pointless. Firing an AR folded is like firing a AR pistol with a 16" barrel.
