Went to my LGS to see if they had the UTG or something similar. Walked out with a NcStar tac light w/mount and remote switch for about the same price as the UTG set up. Very much like the UTG, wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't made in the same factory. So far it looks and works fairly well. I wish the remote switch was a little longer in the switch and I wish the sticky tape would actually work. But I hear it's the same with the UTG, nothing a zip tie couldn't fix.
looks good, feels good, can't wait to try it at night.
I'll post pics and we'll see how similar it is with the UTG.

I was wondering what type of holsters everyone has for their xd with a tlr? I have a Raven concealment holster, and while it is good for concealment I am looking for something else for open carry in the woods. Any suggestions?

Yeah, I haven't found a good holster for my AR15 yet. Maybe someone could help us out.

I don't know, in order to accommodate the barrel length, it might have to go from an IWB into an IPL. Inside Pant Leg holster, and more than likely, inside your socks as well..

I put the Magpul hand guard on mine. It allows you to add rail pieces. I then mounted a 1 inch scope ring. In the scope ring, I put a Fenix flashlight. If you do this, make sure you use a metal bodied flashlight. Dont do plastic.
I tried a TLR1, but it did not have enough "throw".
