Palmetto State Armory- You have lost a customer
Palmetto State Armory- You have lost a customer
Today I went in to the Farrow Road Store location to pick up my AR-15 that I had ordered online. I went in at 11:45 and I was one of two people in the store. There were two people working the front and neither one of them helped me. The gentleman that was not with a customer said he couldn’t go back in the back to get my rifle because they require two people up front at all times- this is understandable and I completely understand. But, don’t tell me my rifle is in the back when the box is sitting up front with my name in black sharpie. After waiting until 12:10 for someone to appear from the back I left. I came back at 12:45 and was helped right away. This guy was super nice and really helpful. He took 5 minutes and now all I had to wait for was some guy to do a redundancy check. This guy talked to his buddy about nothing while I sit there until 1:20. Finally he is done shooting the bull with a buddy and decides to talk me up a wall about sorry they are so busy. I just nodded and agreed with him. At 1:35 I leave the store with gun in hand.
Your customer service is a joke and really needs some serious looking into. When you call no one picks up the phone and emails go unanswered for days. You guys have really great prices but I would rather pay a few cents more than be treated with such disrespect. This was my first AR purchase and my last purchase from you. I really like the idea of supporting a local gun shop but not at the expense of my time and with a complete lack of respect. In the past two weeks I have spent over $1200 at your online store and in person and starting today I will neither recommend nor shop at your store again.
You might be selling guns faster than you can blink but in the end you are losing customer faith and respect.
Sincerely,
A Disrespected and Former Client

It may be worthwhile for you to let the management know about your experience. They will be unable to fix or attempt to fix the problem unless someone brings it to attention. I don't think it is fair to any company to write them off from one bad experience.
I have had problems with my gun shop in the past and after addressing my issues with the owner they went out of their way to ensure everything was made right.
If they continue to treat you with disrespect than I wish you good luck in finding another local shop to browse!

The problem is that the guy that was shooting the bull was the manager or so they said. I email customer service and never heard anything back. This isn't the first time and its not really local for me. I am just in Columbia 2 weekends out of the month.

Time is money and I wonder if the owner of PSA would appreciate being treated the same way you were. Almost 2 hours, that's obscene. I've never appreciated the overly-talkative gun store employee types.

I has an issue with not getting service at wal mart. wasting my time walking around looking for someone to unlock the case, if I found someone it was another 10 minutes for them to get the key.
last time in 2 employees were standing griping back and forth about the schedule and wouldn't acknowledge me or another gentleman.
I went home and called the manager and gave him an ear full for about 35-45 minutes. just before I got off the phone I told him I was glad to waste HIS time for a change.

I agree, whats up with Walmart, everytime I go there to buy ammo theres no one there at the sporting goods section. I have to look for a sales associate to radio someone and, It takes like 10mins to find the person with the damn key to open the ammo case. One time I waited like 15mins with 3 other people to get ammo until some employee walked up to us and, said that when the night manager finished his shift he accidentally took the key home with him.

The Walmart issue has to be a local thing. I never have any issues gtting someone with a key to open up the case for ammo. I actually have to tell a few associates I am just looking at stock and prices.
I agree that if you have a acomplaint about anay retail place, you have to get the complaint to the right person or nothing will change. Integrity in people seems to be lacking more and more these days, but I think if the owner finds out about a problem he will do what needs done to get it fixed.
I had a communication issue with PSA as well. In the end si Was happy with PSA and will continue to purchase form them and continue to recommend them to others.

I'm about to buy an LPK from them online.
Sorry to hear about your poor experience with them.
