FailZero coats the Spikes Tactical BCG...If you were to purchase the same BCG from FailZero you would spend $265 and the only difference in the two is that FailZero adds a NiB hammer with their BCG...Not sure a NiB hammer is worth the additional $40...

As I stated earlier...if you do the reading, there is a lot of positive things being said about FailZero's EXO Technology (Nickel Boron coating)

Yea I saw a few threads on the differences. Spikes seemed to be the better deal obviously. I'm getting the NiB hammer was well with the battle trigger that comes with Spike's enhanced LPK anyways Should be a good combo! Trying to get the best quality I can without going overboard on price!

Some parts are in!!! Here's a few pics of what I have so far...

Spike's 12 inch BAR

Spikes Enhanced LPK

Spikes Buffer kit

DSG Arms got a shipment of the Punisher lowers in so I should be getting that sometime soon. Gotta wait for the upper to get in stock and order the barrel, then it'll be time to put it all together!!

Good looking stuff so far.
I am very interested in the spikes SAR rail, weighing only 12.26 ounces on a 12 inch rail is insane

Thanks! Yea I considered that rail, but I couldn't justify the extra $100 for a few ounces I'm in college and "hurting" for money, so to speak... I restrict my money to food, gas, guns, and ammo lol. Gotta prioritize! Can't go crazy on the parts, but I like quality things. Always have, not just with guns. I buy things so I don't have to replace them later. It's worth saving up to get the right things the first time. But unfortunately, I don't have money to spend too extravagantly...

Picked up the barrel and gas block today. Ended up going with the Denny's stainless steel 16 inch barrel, 1 in 7 twist. Denny is a great guy, met him today when I picked everything up. Very knowledgeable as well, gave me a lot of tips for installing everything. Here's his website if anyone is interested:

Here's some pics of everything. I'm trying to somewhat get better at photography as well. This was the best I could do with clearing off an end table and turning on the lamp. Pretty extensive setup

Joebob had a RGuns NiB BCG for 150. Core15 had one for 175. I will be trying the Core15 one soon, they seem to have great products. Spikes is a first rate company
