Getting my first AR! Need suggestions...
im looking to spend about 700-900...hopefully with a quadrail
i had found a rock river arms, that I thought was perfect, but after taking time to research the gun they ran out:
Rock River Arms Fall Special Carbine, LAR15, A4, Quadrail, 223/5.56 - Impact Guns
ive also been practicing with a m&p 15-22 and was considering getting the cheaper model M&P 15t but, again, they were out of them
S&W M&P15T, Tactical - Impact Guns
any other models or manufacturers i should look into? Ive been curious as to whether or not DPMS, Armalite, and CMMG are good rifles....ive been told to stay away from bushmaster....can someone guide me here? Im lost in a sea of ARs!

You can buy a Colt, BCM or some other higher end rifles for 900ish.
Now the more expensive gun haters gonna hate.

The Rock River actually doesn't look bad. I just don't like the barrel in on THAT particular M&P15

I just picked up a new M4 carbine from Windham Weaponry. So far I've been very impressed with it.

if you want to build you can do what i'm doing. buy a stripped lower and a complete rifle kit from Palmetto State Armory. after shipping and ffl transfer i'll be looking at 750 for a great rifle.

This is great advice. You should definitely look at Palmetto State Armory. I run their M4 and I love it. 4600 Rounds down range in about 2 months with no issues. Ping me if you have any questions about their stuff.
