Spike's Tactical CAR-1 Fake Can [SAFC01E] - $40.00 : Spikes Tactical

I just ordered one and really pumped. I have seen a few installed on m4 style carbines and they look so epic. I love how this one makes it look like you have a 10.5in barrel also.

Time will tell how this thing is, but I think its going to be great! Anyone use these before?

So.... more front-end weight and zero additional functionality?

Except maybe having the local cop or forest ranger stop you with it, and being dragged into a lengthy conversation about why it's "not really a suppressor", and why the handcuffs you're suddenly wearing are "not really jewelry".

I bought one i thought it looked cool for the first week. Then i realized how much of a waste of money it was and took it off.

I use one on a 5.5" .22 to keep the blast out of the hand guards when I'm not running my real can.

I have to confess I got one to and I LOVE it!
Here is a couple thing to consider...
- It add ZERO functionality to the gun.
- It makes the gun act like a flashbang every time you pull the trigger
- I hear ppl saying that my AR is louder then theirs.
- I get asked every time either "wow you got a suppresor?!" or "do you have the paperwork for the suppresor sir?"
- I get asked a lot if I also own a skateboard...

If you are ok with all these got for it! The way I rationalize is that I put the fake one so I can get trained for when I actually get a real one LOL
Lets face it my AR is a toy gun 80% of the crap on it serve no purpose what so ever it just for the tacticool factor

Well I told all my shooting buds that its real, and I plan to dump a mag off in a few seconds before they have a chance to cover their ears lol.

Other than looking like you have a can, why would you need to wait to see about how it "is".... Also, if you have one and have used it, why would you be unsure if it was going to be "GREAT"?

So epic??? It's a fake silencer...
