Not blaming the Glock.

Facts as to being poor quality ammo where are they. Facts as to the steel cased ammo being "much harder than brass". Not just because it's steel does it mean it's much harder than brass. There are many types of steel. Where are the facts?

Did you read the entire quote? You could use facts to prove anything that's even remotely true!"

All this steel cased ammo bashing is perpetuated by hear say and peoples opinions with no hard facts behind them.

Show me wear in a chamber after firing 100 rounds of steel cased ammo. Show me a clogged up barrel.

OP, sorry for the off topic but it get's to me when steel cased ammo is blamed for things when there are no hard facts to prove it.

Look dude do what you want but I still say the stuffs crap and I won't use it. You can't not blame the Glock and not still blame the ammo. It was one of the two and my moneys on the crappy ammo.

I'm done.

Sorry OP

Spoken like someone who know very little of how guns operate. You can't blame any of the two unless you have actual facts to back it up.

OP - have you been shooting steel & brass cased ammo through the weapon without cleaning it?

about the glock issue.....it didn't get that dirty to do that from shooting steel cased ammo. it's not that dirty. I've shot plenty of brass ammo that was just as dirty as the wolf stuff (I'm looking at you WWB). More than likely it was a squib on the previous round that didn't clear the barrel & he didn't notice & then the next round met up with the previous round still in the barrel.

I'm no Yoda master but I know a enough and I talk to a lot of people that know more than most and they said it was the Wolf ammo. Just stay in your box dude, I don't care, I got nothing that I need to prove to you. Wanna ruin your guns go ahead.

Even If what Stangman said happened it would STILL be a ammo issue. All logical reasons point to the ammo.

Also if it was because the OP had been shooting wolf ammo prior to the brass American Eagle ammo the extractor would have ripped the rim of the round out. Though I don't think this was the case as he had said that it had been cleaned prior and 100 rounds had been fired before the failure. I'm just trying to think how on earth the primer could have blown out the back unless it was the load.

Wasn't my gun, I can't stand Glocks, though I respect them I think that their good guns, their just not for me. Wasn't my ammo, can stand Wolf (especially in my AR).
