I'm wanting a Night Vision scope

My 6.8 build is rolling along and I decided to put a VX-3 1x5 scope on it. My question is can I buy something like a Gen 1 NV scope to mount on the rail in front of the scope when shooting at night and have it work?

A gen 1 scope is garbage and you can shoot better without it. Gen 3 and above are the only ones worth buying and start at lik 2500 for a monocle and the scopes are like 7 grand and up give or take.

I wouldnt exactly say that but to each his own.

Shop around you can find some servicable Gen 1 optics out there. Youtube isnt actually a bad place to check out models after you narrow it down some.
