Do Colt snobs annoy you?
Seriously, they bug me! Sure Colt makes great military grade weapons and you can build a great rifle using their components, however, it astounds me that they believe their Colt is better than BCM, Noveske, LMT, POF, and the other top tier manufactures now out there making fantastic products.

Funny, I left for Iraq and no one could tell me what stadium they played in, I get back from Iraq and everyone of my friends is too busy to see me because they're at the World Series.
Not saying you fit this criteria...just a thought Ive been having

I am with KNO3, I hate snobs, period.
If you can't appreciate a gun for what its really worth just because of a brand, your a snob
I respect glock and M&P, because they are good units, but its XD all the way.
I don't go around haitin on others though

Not quite as much as, my Oly, DPMS, yada,yada, is as good as your over-rated Colt...
I don't own a Colt btw....those arguements remind me of trying to talk sense to a drunk... pointless 
It's your gun, use it, enjoy it, whatever brand it is.

In my AR collection I own 2 Colts and 2 Ruger piston guns. I won't say I don't love my Colts, I do, but I also know that there are other fine manufacturers of the AR platform out there. I agree that it does seem like there is a Elitist attitude for Colt owners out there. I had my share of flak from others who own only Colts and do not like it when I voice my opinion.
Best to keep one's mind open to whats out there.

I've caught flak because I have a POF upper on a bushy lower..Whatever makes you sleep better I guess. I love mr AR and have a great time shooting her.

Oh god, the same guy now pulled the chart out on me! At least he conceded BCM is "closest to mil-spec."

Oh the chart. The chart screws CMMG over. Just because the data points are "optional upgrades" from CMMG. Even when you add them on and the M16 carrier it's cheaper than the Colt. That should put it to the right of LMT not fraking S&W. Besides you don't know how the gun is built up. The chart
