Kel-Tec PLR-16... Thoughts anyone?

Hi everyone, I have just about every toy I need, but something about the PLR-16 screams, "buy me I am fun!" I do wish it were a metal firearm but its just sweet. They are relatively cheap, and its just something that I could use as a personal defense weapon. It is small with lots of fire power and can be modded to hell. I came across this picture and now I want to start a new project, thoughts anyone?

I think that picture makes it look like garbage. It is a fun gun all it needs is a guard over the hot barrel and a reflex sight and its good.

I like the Burris and the Red Lion Aluminum forend and I like the idea of a vertical foregrip on there to, which makes it (AOW) which is stupid but rules is rules. I don't need the laser or the can though.

Yea that's why I like it so much, no big buffer tube hanging off the rear looking ridiculous, might as well throw a butt stock on there and call it a SBR... I just can't believe that by me putting a vertical fore grip on it makes it instantly illegal without transferring it to an (AOW). These laws are insane. $200 dollars to install a vertical fore grip? It sure looks sweet on there though. Why is it illegal in CT? Is it illegal stock?

CT has a law with pistols with for grips and being over 51oz in weight. i cant even own a ruger 10/22 charger pistol. If its preban its fine but nothing after. Also not sure about the law but i wonder if a magpul AFG grip would count as a pistol grip. You should contact magpul see what the law on that is i know they were looking into it.

Nope i can throw a stock on it and i can have an SBR or a suppressor. I own an AK47 in 223 but i cant own one in 7.62 strange laws make no sense. I can have a semi auto shotgun like a saiga 12 but not if it has a pistol grip. whatever sucks but i can own most things just rules i have to follow.
