And so the money pit begins
Just took an hour off of work and stoped by Spikes and picked up a stripped lower. This is my first AR. I am building this one piece by piece. I plan on taking nearly a year to complete as I am fairly poor. Overall though, I'm very excited and cant wait to start adding stuff to the lower!

Haha, I'm also doing my first build, been buying components for about 6 months. My LPK should arrive today, so this weekend I begin to actually build it! But every day I think I'm done, I find something else I want.

This is an incurable disease!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will never be finished....even if you don't have an urge for several years it will come around again and you will find more stuff you need!!! LOL

I can already see that. It started out that I just wanted a nothing special, basic AR. Now I have a $1200 build planned out. I also already have 3 or 4 more AR's I want in the future. I need a better job

Dude I'm sorry....BRD is incurable. You will carry this burden for the rest of your life. Luckily, it is not lethal and is manageable. It can be kept somewhat in check (but not necessarily recommended) by a simple method...get married.   Otherwise, its all downhill from here.

BRD is contagious, but not sexually (that I know of) 
You will likely give the disease to your wife if she is predisposed. My wife has an enormous amount of resistance to firearm related diseases for some reason - just hope my boys catch the bug.
